Chief Minister of Punjab visit to CGN-P stall in Miran Mullah Model Village

 

 

On 12th April 2011, Chief Minister of Punjab, Mian Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif visited Miran Mullah, Khangarh to inaugurate the Model Village, the first of its kind in Punjab for flood hit people in Miran Mullan, Khangarh. The Model Village has the following facilities community centre, a school, a mosque, a bio-gas plant, a technical education institution and a dispensary. During the inauguration, he visited the stalls of NGO’s working in the Muzaffargarh district for the flood-affected areas. CGN-P along with many other NGO’s had set up a stall showing the progress made by CGN-P in the flood affected areas and showcasing its teacher training and learning methodology. The Chief Minister accompanied by many local provincial authorities and also by Former Federal Minister of Education Mr. Ahsan Iqbal while visiting the stall of CGN-P, the CM inquired about our Teacher Training Program and was told by CGN-P of its progress in Muzaffargarh district. The DCO of Muzaffargarh also commented to the CM of the MOU signed between the DCO and CGN-P on the rehabilitation of the flood-affected schools in the district.
