Ms. Mehnaz Aziz Chief Executive and Founding Director Children’s Global Network and member Pakistan Education Task Force participated in the first ever three days UNESCO World Conference on Early Childhood Care and Education held on September 27- 29, 2010. The 2010 WCECCE is the fifth of a series of international education conferences organized by UNESCO in 2008-2010. Ms. Mehnaz Aziz will be giving a presentation in the session on regional experiences Asia-Pacific on the topic “Strengthening Networking among Service Providers of ECCE in Public and Private sector”. The objectives of the conference are to strengthen political commitment to Early Childhood Care and Education, and map a course of action for accelerating progress towards EFA Goal 1 and related MDGs. Some 1,000 from 176 countries participated comprising  ministers, government officials, experts, representatives of civil society organizations, representatives from private sector and practitioners are expected to attend this event.
