CGN-P’s courses are inducted into HEC Curriculum


CGN-P over the last few years is well known for its interactive teaching and learning methodology in creating child centered classrooms and has collaborated with several organizations in research and analysis of its methodology and how to improve it over the years. CGN-P and especially its Chief Executive is involved in the review of the national curriculum for ECE and M.Ed courses with consultation with different stakeholders from the Ministry of Education, Federal Directorate of Education, Higher Education Commission of Pakistan and different NGO’s involved and specializes in the education sector.  

Just lately three of our courses designed by CGN-P have been inducted into the curriculum of education for ADE (Associate Degree in Education) B.Ed. (Hons.) Elementary and Secondary .Ed. /MS as reference books recommended by the Higher Education Commission, Islamabad, Pakistan Revised 2010.  These courses are:

1. Classroom Assessment

Classroom assessments gives an opportunity for prospective teachers to able asses and form an understanding of teaching and how to improve further through analytical assessment and be able to give productive and constructive feedback on the student’s work.

2. School, Community and Teacher

School, Community and Teacher aims to bridge the gap between different stakeholders for more efficient and effective implementation of its educational programs. The prospective teachers are given an opportunity to interact with community members and how to mobilize and motivate them for the development of schools in those communities. They are also educated about close collaboration within the school and teacher and how to continue monitoring the progress of students and how to improve their performance through indicators like social development, which would influence the performance of the students and education sector as a whole.

3. Inclusive Education

Inclusive education is a very specialized form of education, which is different from traditional forms of education. They would be able to cater the needs of special children who require special and more specialized teaching. The role played by different stakeholders which play an important part in the development of children who require special attention
