Monitoring and Evaluation Coordinator

Children’s Global Network-Pakistan (CGN-P) is looking to hire a Monitoring and Evaluation Coordinator for its Islamabad office. CGN-P employs a systemic approach towards monitoring and evaluating its programs. The results of evaluations are presented to donors and various other stakeholders, and are used in guiding program revisions and implementations as well as for research purposes.
CGN-P is looking for an enthusiastic individual with a strong academic background and a creative streak for the position of Monitoring and Evaluation Coordinator. Candidates should have at least a Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Statistics or Social Sciences from a reputable university. Prior research experience and experience with data analysis software such as SPSS and STATA will be preferred. The position is based at CGN-P’s Islamabad office but may require occasional field travel in programme districts.
Responsibilities:
The selected candidate will be expected to perform the following tasks:

  1. Develop frameworks for the coordination of monitoring and evaluation activities being undertaken in multiple projects;
  2. Design, collect and analyze quantitative and qualitative data and direct research staff in conducting such analyses;
  3. Conduct quantitative and qualitative data collection and analyses (site visits, interviews, focus groups);
  4. Devise monitoring and evaluation framework, methods and tools;
  5. Develop capacity assessments methods for vis-à-vis monitoring and assessments;
  6. Develop work based case studies for diverse audience;
  7. Serve as team member on large-scale evaluations;
  8. Produce data analysis summaries and project reports;
  9. Present and communicate data findings;
  10. Responsible for compilation of data in the form of report;
  11. Write and edit articles for annual newsletter;
  12. To monitor program performance against project goals;
  13. Involve managers from all levels to internalize M&E system within their area of work;
  14. Receiving information, collating and analyzing for performance evaluation;
  15. Assisting colleagues in the use of quantitative and qualitative data for research purposes.
