CGN-P has established a sub-office in district Vehari for the implementation of its “School Improvement Program” (SIP). The program aims at improving the quality of education in selected government boys and girls schools in two tehsils of Vehari District i-e Burewala and Vehari. CGN-P, in collaboration with the City District Government Vehari and with funding support from Plan International will implement the program by working towards the following objectives:
- Building the capacity of the wider school community including teachers, principals, local education area representatives and senior level administrators;
- Mobilizing families and communities to participate in the development of quality schools; and
- Bringing together all the stake holders to raise the quality of education in district Vehari.
The purpose behind the implementation of School improvement program is to establish model schools for the entire district of Vehari.
